Fuel heats the air; electricity runs glow plug, pump, and blower. Plan controller/blower Wh — not the diesel energy.

Public owner reports often land around ~1–5 A at 12 V while running (~12–60 W), with higher spikes on cold start. Example planning: 30 W × 8 h = 240 Wh electrical.
